William W. 'Bud' Nickerson Jr

William W. "Bud" Nickerson Jr. 71, of Thorofare, passed away on June 14, 2013. Bud was born in Camden and has resided in Thorofare for 30 years. He worked at Howards Auto Body Shop and at Soupy Island.

Everyone that knew Bud knew how handy he was. He could build anything out of some river wood and a handful of nails, but his real love was restoring cars. Friends and family, even perfect strangers, would stop by the garage to see what unique car he was working on. He would stop and talk for just a bit about the project but then get right back to work. When he wasn't working in the garage he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, (probably talking about cars).

Bud is survived by his son William "Buddy" III (Christine) of Gibbstown; 2 daughters Carol (Tamas) Nickerson of Alabama & Annamae Ryan (John Hunter) of Deptford; son William Kimmerley (Cassandra Ranken) of Washington Twp.; fiance Linda Watson; sister Ruth (Joseph) Bornman of Thorofare; 8 grandchildren & a great granddaughter.

Visitation Tuesday 7 to 9pm and Wednesday 10am until the Service at 11am at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
