William J. Cox

William J. Cox, 92, of Merritt Island, FL formally of Laurel Springs, NJ passed away on November 10, 2013. "Wild Bill" was born in Philadelphia. Wild Bill was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Dolores (Mumford). Bill & Dolores successfully raised one wild daughter, Joanne (Moore-Russo) to adulthood. He was very proud of his son-in-law US Army Colonel Alan M. Russo. His joy was also found in grandsons William Scott Moore & Jeffrey Allen Moore, to whom he told all his stories and secrets. He was a Veteran of WWII. He loved the Phillies, Eagles, hamburgers, Budweiser, MASH, Glen Miller, fast cars, Lawrence Welks, John Wayne and the many dogs he owned. He was one of a kind, loyal, unforgettable and will be missed by many.
