Walter H. Lightcap Jr., 87, of Woodbury Heights, passed away on Nov. 18, 2012. Walter was born in Germantown, PA and has resided in Woodbury Heights for 62 years. He was a machinist for Steel Heddle Manufacturing Co. in Philadelphia for 40 years. Walter served in the US Navy during WWII and is a member of the American Legion Post 133, Woodbury & the VFW Post 7679, Mantua. He was active in the Woodbury Heights Boys Club & Woodbury Heights Senior Citizens; he was an avid bowler and loved his mountain home in Lake Hauto, PA.

Walter is predeceased by his wife Barbara Jean Wilson; 2 brothers Frank sister Sis; brother-in-laws Al & Jack & beloved dog Kelly. He is survived by his children Steven (Trish) & Carol of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mark (Sharon), Blair (Donna), James (Debi), Susan (Bill) Reim all of Woodbury Heights & Barbara (Ken) Kratzer of Monroeville; sister Jane Genesio; sister-in-law Bunny Wilson; 17 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation Saturday 9am until the Service at 12 noon at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, N.J. Interment with Military Honors Eglington Cemetery.
