Virginia 'Dede' Easter

Virginia R. "Dede" Easter (nee Pegau), 81, of Washington Twp., passed away on July 11th at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert J. Easter; son Robert F. Easter and wife Candace of National Park; four grandchildren Robert J. Easter II (now serving in Iraq), Eric J. Easter and wife Laura of Atco, Justin Boulanger (now serving in the Navy), Natalie Boulanger of National Park; sister Clara Jean Petry of Woodbury; two nephews Jeffery D. Hock of Juneau, Alaska & Richard F. Hock of Woodbury and a great granddaughter Daphnie.
Dede was born in Woodbury, she was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Woodbury, a graduate of Woodbury High School and a student at Immaculata University. Dede loved sports, she played varsity basketball in high school, was an ardent Phillies fan, and an accomplished golfer and bowler. During her lifetime her travels covered 18 foreign countries, and with family, a time of residence in three of them- Mexico, Brazil, and the Philippines. She will be remembered for her unswerving compassion and love she gave to all.
A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church at Woodbury 11am Thursday August 28th. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Underwood Memorial Hospital Foundation 509 N.
