Vera B. Merriel

Vera B. Merriel (nee Bowman), 87, of Stratford, NJ, passed away on January 20, 2016. Vera was born in Millville and resided in Woodbury before moving to Stratford. She was secretary to the President of Tyco Toys for over 20 years; Girl Scout Leader for 8 years; affiliated with WOW's and Past President of Sterling Arms Condo Association.

Vera was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1990. She is survived by 2 daughters Sue (Charles) Wynne of Clementon & Christine (Frank) Wilson of Ocean City; sister Charlotte Kushner of FL; brother Edward Bowman of FL; nephew Henry "Bud" Bowman; 8 grandchildren Cheryl & Joe Marinelli, Carrie Wilson & Kenny Roselle, Corin & Paul Holodnak, Melony, Matthew, Megan, Mallory & Marti Sue Wynne & 5 great grandchildren Anthony, Adriana & Angelo Marinelli, Benjamin Holodnak & Mia Wynne.

Visitation Tuesday 10:30am until the service at 12pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. Memories & condolences may be shared at daviswagner.com
