Robert D. Jarrell Sr.

Robert D. Jarrell Sr.,82, of Thorofare, passed away on October 6, 2020. Robert was born in Louisiana and has resided in Thorofare since 1956. He was a welder for H.A. DeHart & Son, Sun Ship Company and he retired from JoulInc. Robert served in the US Army and has was a District Judge for the Board of Elections of Gloucester County. He enjoyed going to the senior lunches at the Thorofare firehouse.
Robert was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Norma (nee Ladner), his son Robert D. Jarrell Jr and his brother Kenneth Jarrell. He is survived by his sons Christopher of Gibbstown & Timothy of Thorofare; sisters Elizabeth Fountain; 5 grandchildren Tabitha, Robin, Timmy, Jeff & Todd and 5 great grandchildren Renee, Silas, Griffin, Jayden & Adelyn.
Visitation Saturday 10am until the service at 12 noon at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ 08096. Interment Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 'Arnold Shannon Scholarship.'
