Rene "Buck" L. DeBosscher, 87 passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014, in Deptford, NJ with his family by his side. Born in Philadelphia on September 14, 1927. He married Sarah Lonabaugh (nee McCormick) in 2008 after many years of companionship, their relationship was a true romantic love story, she will always be his "Special" and he will forever remain her "Shrimp". Rene served honorably in the U. S. Merchant Marines during WWII. After the war he secured a job at DuPont and retired in the late 80s. In 1996 they moved to West Deptford where he continued to reside until shortly before his death.
He is predeceased by his son, Scott Lonabaugh, parents and siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah DeBosscher, his children, Tammy Lonabaugh (Kerry), Traci Brosius (Paul), Sharon LaClaire, Joe Malinowski, Sonny DeBosscher and his grandchildren, Jesse Lonabaugh, LCpl Jacob Kopach (Halie), Nickelas Lonabaugh, Lexi Brosius, Pat Murphy, Joe LaClaire, Sonny DeBosscher, Shawn DeBosscher, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as his best friends Bill and Carmella Sickler.
At his time of his death, he was being cared for by his wife at their daughter's home in Deptford with the assistance of Tammy Lonabaugh, Kerry Brown, Jesse Lonabaugh and Trish Carr who collectively provided around the clock care in his final days.
