Phyllis A. Hall (D'Amico), 64, of Mt. Ephraim, passed away on May 23, 2016 at home. Phyllis was born and resided in Philadelphia before moving to Mt. Ephraim 15 years ago. She was the office manager of Chucks Termite & Pest Control in Philadelphia and then worked for Ashley Furniture in Turnersville.
Phyllis was always the life of the party, someone you could always count on and didn't have a filter!! Those that knew her, loved her!!! She grew up the fourth oldest child out of 13, yes 13 children!!!! Born and raised in Southwest Philly, graduated from West Catholic girls high school in 1969. Then married her childhood sweetheart and started a family. She was a great Mom and like a mom to many others. Then eventually became a MomMom to five grandchildren who were her pride and joy!! Anyone that knew her knew her love for them and also knew her love for the casino!!!!! She could sit for hours at a slot machine and sometimes a few at a time. It was her happy place!! She loved her co-workers at Ashley furniture, and they loved their "Philly".....
She fought a hard battle of lung cancer for almost seven months and rarely ever complained... She said from the first day that she isn't afraid to die and knows she's going to heaven. A true inspiration to all!! She will be sadly missed and never forgotten!!! She said she wanted a "party" not a funeral so please celebrate her life!! She is with the spirits in the sky and will be our Angel forever!!!!
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Steven Hall Sr. in 1995; mother Shirley Schmidt D'Amico in 1996; brother Charles D'Amico & sister Linda D'Amico. She is survived by her father Charles D'Amico; children Stephen (Lora) Hall Jr. of Philadelphia & Julie (Scott) Cranmer of West Deptford; siblings Nancy D'Amico, Thomas (Natalia) D'Amico, Nicholas (Myra) D'Amico, Theresa (Larry) Reed, Gina (Frank) Ingiosi, Daniel (Paula) D'Amico, Shirley (Barry) Raff, Lisa (John) Alston, Christina (John) Sutter, & Richard D'Amico; 5 grandchildren Felicia, Claudia, Sophia, Carter & Aiden and her best friend Frannie Smith since they were 5 years old.
