Philomena Groff

Philomena Groff, 91, of Murrells Inlet, SC and formerly of Paulsboro and Woodbury NJ passed away on May 24, 2012 after a long illness. Philomena was born on June 27, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA.

Beloved wife of the late Henry Groff. She is survived by her daughter Anna Marie Marshall of Murrells Inlet SC; her grandson Michael Hrinda of Busan , South Korea; her granddaughter Linda Marshall of Charlotte, NC; her Sister Rita Melchiorre of Medford NJ, and several nieces and nephews.

She worked for Acme markets in Philadelphia for many years. Philomena was the oldest of 7 children and assisted her parents in the raising and nurturing of their family. Later on she did the same for her daughter and her grandchildren. She enjoyed worshipping at the Woodbury Heights Presbyterian Church and the fellowship provided by the church.

Visitation Tuesday 9am until the service at 11am at Woodbury Heights Presbyterian Church 335 Elm Avenue Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097 under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES Woodbury, NJ.
