Josephine Edith Taylor

Josephine E. Taylor, 86, of West Deptford, of May 12, 2010. Jo was born in Paulsboro and has resided in West Deptford since 1955. Jo owned and operated "Taylor's Lamp Shoppe" for 42 years. The business started in her home and later moved to Broad Street in Woodbury. For many years, she used her sewing talents to make custom lampshades for many people all around. Josephine was very involved in the Chamber of Commerce for Woodbury. She spent many years being the Secretary and Treasurer for this organization. Jo was also, an avid bowler and was on a woman's league for many years.

Jo was predeceased by her husband Frank "Barney" Taylor. She is survived by her son Frank (Cissie) of Myrtle Beach, SC; 3 daughters Charlene (Phil) Stumpf of Mantua, Kim (Michael) Danze of West Deptford & Tammy (Greg) Lippincott of Williamstown; sister Carolyn Grant of Myrtle Beach; sister-in-law Blanche Hartman; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews.

Visitation 9am Monday until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer [emailprotected] alz.org.
