John 'Zeke' Hubbs

John E."Zeke" Hubbs, 66, of West Deptford, passed away on July 16, 2013. John was born in Woodbury and resided in Billingsport before moving to West Deptford. He was a lineman and installer for Bell Telephone/Verizon in Woodbury Heights for 33 years retiring in 2002. John served in the US Marines during Viet Nam and was a member of the VFW Post 6884 in National Park. He enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing, off roading, water & snow skiing.
John is survived by his wife of 43 years Ruth Jean (nee De Vito)Hubbs; 2 sons Michael (Kim) of Deptford & Jeffrey (Heather) of Collings Lakes; 2 brothers Robert & Fred Rohrer and granddaughter Stephanie Budd-Hubbs. He was predeceased by his children John & Lauren and mother Elsie Hubbs.
Visitation Monday 7 to 9pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ.
