John Holleny Jr

John Holleny Jr., 65, of Wenonah, passed away on January 8, 2013. John was born in Camden and has resided in Wenonah for 35 years. He was a Teacher at Kingsway Regional High School for 25 years, retiring in 2003. John served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam Era. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Heights, serving several terms as an Elder and Past President of the Men's Club. He ran the Political Science Club and was the founder of the annual Veterans Memorial Service at Kingsway Regional High School.


John is survived by his wife of 39 years Cherie Holleny; 2 daughters Tara H. (Matthew) Hines of Bordentown & Laura Eve (Joshua) Czaikowski of Egg Harbor Twp. and his expecting a grandson in March & and a granddaughter in May.

Visitation Friday 6 to 8 pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ and Saturday 10am until the Service at 11am at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Heights 335 Elm Ave. Woodbury Heights, NJ.
