Joan Strom

Joan Strom (nee Schemenski), 74, of Lexington, SC, formerly of Woodbury passed away on October 31, 2015. Joan was born in Philadelphia and resided in Woodbury before moving to Lexington. Joan worked at West End Memorial School in Woodbury, the City of Woodbury Police Department and the Department of Motor Vehicles in West Deptford, retiring in 2004.

Joan is survived by her husband of 55 years Donald M. Strom; daughter Lisa (Joseph) Thornbury of Lexington, SC; 2 sons Edward (Elisabeth) of Woodbury & Anthony of North Port, FL; brother Edward (Patricia) Schemenski of West Deptford; 6 grandchildren Emily & Alyssa Thornbury and John, Marlena, Isabella & Meredith Strom and 3 great grandchildren Luke, Jensen & Connor.

Visitation Thursday 7 to 9pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
