J. Richard 'Dick' Geiss

J. Richard "Dick" Geiss, 80, of West Deptford, passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2013. Dick was born in Reading, PA and resided in S. Temple, PA before moving to West Deptford 50 years ago. He is the son of the late Raymond Geiss and the late Emily Fries Schmehl. He was in Industrial Valve Sales for over 40 years with RP&C Valves, Crane Valves, Nibco Valves and retired in 1994 as Eastern Regional Manager for Milwaukee Valve Co. He graduated from Muhlenberg High School and received his associate degree from Penn State University. Dick loved to golf, play tennis, his state of the art workshop and he & Shirley sailed the Chesapeake Bay in their 38 foot sailboat for over 30 years.

Dick is survived by his wife of 60 years Shirley (nee Berger); son Stephen R. (Susan) of Des Moines, IA; daughters Holly L. (David) Wood of West Deptford & Heidi L. (Walter) Einhorn of Merion, PA; 11 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by his daughter Lori A. Cooper.

Visitation Saturday10am until the Memorial Service at 11am at Central Baptist Church 37 S. Jackson St. Woodbury, N.J. under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES Woodbury, N.J.
