Herman E. Philpot Jr.

Herman E. Philpot Jr., 82, of Woodbury, passed away on January 20, 2024. Herman was born in Darby, PA and has resided in Woodbury since 1978. He was a police officer in Williamstown, NJ and then for the Gloucester County Sheriff Department until his retirement. He also worked at Bob’s Little Sport Shop in Glassboro for over 30 years. Herman served in the US Navy and was a proud member of the NRA.

Herman was predeceased by his wife Barbara and his brother Joseph. He is survived by his sister Kathleen Bakley, stepsons Nicholas (Cheryl) & Thomas Lacovara; grandchildren Catherine, Nicholas W. & his fiancé Haley, and Jonathan H. Lacovara; great grandsons Noah & Levi and his best friend David Kasserman.
