Helen R. Robinson (nee Rachor), of Woodbury, NJ passed away peacefully on January 13, 2013, at Shady Lane Nursing Home in Clarksboro, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Florence and Frank Rachor, sister of the late Katherine R. Settle, wife of the late James S. Robinson, mother of son Scott (Christine) J. Robinson and daughter Nancy (William) R. Peterson and grandmother of six wonderful grandchildren, Lynn Peterson, Gregory Peterson, Jeffrey Robinson, Leigh Peterson, Denise Thatcher, and Karen Robinson.

Helen was the fourth generation born and raised in Woodbury where she lived all her life. Upon graduating from Woodbury High School in 1938, Helen began her career with the Woodbury Board of Education as the secretary to the superintendent. She left the position to travel the country with her husband during World War II making many life-long friends. She and her husband returned to Woodbury where Helen enjoyed a life filled with her family, close friends and neighbors. Wherever she went, Helen was the life of the party. Among her hobbies were shell collecting, playing bridge and spending time with her grandchildren. Helen was a very resourceful mother and wife running a home based baking business during her husband's long illness. After his death she returned to a secretarial career, ending as the Payroll Clerk for the Woodbury Board of Education in 1972. Helen was a faithful and active member of the Kemble Methodist Church in Woodbury.

She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation Wednesday 9:30am until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
