Gerald 'Jerry' Pilarz

Gerald 'Jerry' Pilarz, 74, of Turnersville, passed away on May 8, 2017. Jerry was born in Camden and has resided in Turnersville for the last 35 years. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Kathleen (nee Cabal); daughters Susan (Mark) Nicolle of Wenonah and Meg (Michael) ONeill of Westville and four grandchildren Katie, Peggy, and Tommy Nicolle and Amanda ONeill. He was predeceased by his grandson, Sean ONeill.
Jerry worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Camden County for 39 years, retiring in 2004. He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard spending time in Thailand and many other places throughout the world. He was a volunteer fire fighter and recently enjoyed volunteering for local pageants in the Miss America organization. He loved the beach, fishing, riding his bike, and was a #1 supporter of his grandchildrens activities and accomplishments. He will also be remembered as a great friend and confidante.
Visitation is Saturday at 10 AM until the service at 12 noon at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME, 171 Delaware St., Woodbury, NJ.
