Francis D. 'Frank' Weeks Jr

Francis D. Weeks, Jr., (Frank) died peacefully at his home in Atlantis, FL on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012. He was born on August 19, 1929 in Syracuse, NY, the older son of Francis D. Weeks, Sr. and the former Mabel W. Kane. He was predeceased by his younger brother, W. Kane Weeks of Syracuse, NY.

Frank was graduated from the Pebble Hill School and Williams College ('52). While at Williams, Frank was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and the lacrosse and baseball teams. After college he worked for Marine Midland Bank in NYC and Syracuse, NY. While in NYC, he met and married the former Margaret (Peggy) Henry of Woodbury, NJ. In 1960, they moved to Wenonah, NJ and Frank became a Principal in E. P. Henry & Son, where he worked until his retirement in 1989. He was active in the National and South Jersey Concrete Masonry Associations along with AIA of West Jersey. After retirement Frank and Peggy moved to Atlantis, FL.



Frank was an avid card player until his death and until the past couple of years was an enthusiastic golfer. He had a life-long passion for both art and music and happily shared them with his family and friends. He was a member of Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, NJ, Atlantis Golf Club in Atlantis, FL and The Little Club in Gulf Stream, FL.

Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, his daughters, Jeanne Hannigan, Marianne Anzaldo and Barbara Joyce; his grandchildren, Robert Hannigan, Katherine Hannigan, Phillip Anzaldo and Margaret Joyce; and his sons-in-law, Robert Hannigan, Mark DelRoccili and James Joyce.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00A.M. at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME, 171 Delaware St., Woodbury, NJ, followed by interment at Wenonah Cemetery.
