Ethel L. Goldy

December 31, 1936 — February 22, 2017

Ethel L. Goldy (nee Henning), 80, of Mickleton, passed away on February 22, 2017. Ethel was born in Gloucester City, she resided in Woodbury and West Deptford before moving to Mickleton. Ethel was an active member of the Christ Episcopal Church and a member of the Altar Guild. She was a graduate of Woodbury High School class of 1954, a baton twirler in the band and a member of the Woodbury High School Sports Alumni Assoc.; and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi.

Ethel is survived by her husband 61 years Paul J. Goldy Sr.; daughters Lee Ann (Victor) Gehring of Mullica Hill & Carrie Goldy (John) Cantera of Oviedo, FL; son Paul J. (Rose) Goldy Jr. of Cumming, GA; sister Joan Moore of Swedesboro; brother John Henning of West Deptford; 5 grandchildren Ashley (Richard) Wisniewski, Sean Goldy, Alexandra Goldy, Joshua Cantera Eden & John Cantera Jr. and 3 great grandchildren Zoey, Charlotte & Lucas. She was predeceased by her sister Doris Craig and brother Howard Henning.

Visitation Saturday 9 to 10:30am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11am at the Christ Episcopal Church 62 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ 08096. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
