Elaine C. Welsh

Elaine C. Welsh (nee Janes), 89, of Sewell, passed away on June 13, 2022 at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital. She was born on January 15, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA to Ethel (Duval) and Richard J. Janes, Sr.
Elaine came from meager beginnings but lived a full, vibrant life. She married at 17, had 5 children and began her life as a homemaker. She loved her family, buying clothes and shoes, anything and everything sugary sweet, and the thing she loved the most is telling stories. Once she got going, her eyes would get big and she could tell an entire story in one breath. She had lots of stories!
Elaine was predeceased by her husband Robert P. Welsh, Jr., brothers Richard J. Janes, Jr. and Edward Janes as well as her daughter, Amy Elaine Breedlove. She is survived by her children Linda Gray of Woodbury, NJ; Edward (Dolores) Breedlove of Philadelphia, PA; Caroline (Tom) Breedlove of Austin, TX; Tammy Rommel of Millville, NJ; grandchildren Damian & Dorian Gray, Lisa (Keith) Veltre, Christy (Shawn) Doebrich, Samantha Heinrich, Kelly (Travis) Downing, and Jacob & Emily Rommel; great grandchildren Gia, Gaige, Jace & Julian Gray, McKayla Veltre, Michael Taylor, Jaxon Doebrich, Gabrielle & Dylan Heinrich, Kylie Huntley and Taylor Downing.
Visitation will be Monday, June 20th at 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service to honor and celebrate her life at 12 p.m. at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 171 Delaware Street, Woodbury, NJ.
