Dorothy Mae Crumley

Dorothy Mea Crumley (nee Carson), 91, of Westville, NJ passed away on Friday August 14, 2009 at Underwood Memorial Hospital. Dorothy was born in Mt. Royal, NJ on January 22, 1918. She grew up in Mt. Royal and attended Swedesboro High School. On July 25, 1936 she married Edward J. Crumley. They moved to Westville in 1941.

Dorothy was a homemaker and loved cooking and sewing, still crocheting afgans until her last days. Dorothy continued to attend the church where she was dedicated following her birth, the Berkley Baptist Church. She was a life long member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Edward and two grandsons, George (Denise) and Edward (Beverly). She is survived by her sons, George (Judy) Crumley and William (Dorothy) Crumley; Judy Ann (John), Lindsey Erwin, William (Kelly) Crumley Jr., Daniel (Linda) Crumley, Dorothy Mae (Jason) Bennett, Jesse (Melissa) Crumley, great grandchildren Christina, Stephanie, Amanda, Victoria, Sarah, Ashley, Michael, Mickayla, Daniel, Jacob, Colby, Timothy, Bailey, Emilee, great-great grandchildren Rome, Briana, Brittany, Joshua, Koby, Faith & Gabriella.

Visitation Thursday 10am until service at 11am at the Berkley Baptist Church 177 Kings Hwy. Mt. Royal, NJ 08061. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the Berkley Baptist Church Memorial Fund or to any animal or wildlife organization of your choice.
