Dorothy E. Knorr

Dorothy E. Knorr (nee Waldron), 91, of Avalon Manor, NJ passed away on September 22, 2012 at Vitas Hospice, Kennedy Healthcare Center, Stratford, NJ. She was born in Kensington, Philadelphia, PA and resided in National Park and Pennsauken before moving to Avalon Manor in 1978. She worked at Belber Trunk Factory in Woodbury and Whitman's Candy Store in Philadelphia. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She was also a talented painter who worked in both oils & acrylics.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Francis "Goo"; son John W. "Jackie"; granddaughter Nicole L. Zimolong & 10 brothers & sisters. She is survived by 2 sons Harry F. (Patricia) of Mullica Hill & Gene H. (Sue) of Somerdale; daughter Dorothy J. (Carl) Zimolong of Meherrin, VA; sister Phyllis Zane of Buena; 8 grandchildren & 11 great- grandchildren.

Visitation Tuesday 9am until the Service at 11am at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, N.J. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
