Dale Carol Waters

Dale Carol Waters (nee Redfield), age 77, passed peacefully in the loving care of her only sister in Homosassa Springs, Florida. She was born to Mary and Searle Redfield on January 26, 1944 in Pitman, NJ and attended Pitman High School where she was classmates with her future husband, Donald H. Waters.
Dale was best known for her many passions. On a beautiful summers day, you could find her in her reading glasses writing to her local representatives about various issues including gun violence, womens rights, and property taxes. She loved a good fight and was determined to see change.
She also had an impeccable eye for fashion. Her children and grandchildren often came to her for fashion advice: 'what style of shoes will go with my new dress' 'does this color suit me'.
Similarly, she could tell you exactly what piece of artwork or furniture your home was missing and where to place it. Although she never had a career in it, she was quite gifted in interior decorating. Most anyone who did not know any better would think that an artist designed and decorated her home.
In her later years, her favorite pass-times included eating ice-cream with grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as watching Masterpiece Theater or various shows on BBS.
Predeceased by her mother (Mary Redfield), father (Searle Redfield), brother (James Redfield), husband (Donald Waters). Dale leaves behind a brother, sister, 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service 12 noon Wednesday March 10th followed by the interment at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME Woodbury, NJ.
