Clair Renac. Cathers

Clair Ren Cathers, 81, of Oak Valley, Deptford, passed away on April 8, 2017. Ren was born Altoona, PA. He was raised in Camden and resided in Oak Valley from 1963 to 2000, moved to West Melbourne, FL before returning to Oak Valley in 2016. He was a claims supervisor for Hartford Insurance Co. & Ohio Casualty and a ski instructor at Camelback and Sunday River. Ren served in the US Army and was a member of the Scottish Rite Freemasons.
Ren was predeceased by his wife Ruth & brother Darryl. He is survived by his daughter Frannie (John) Firth; sister Zana (Markus) Etter; brother Emlyn (Erica) Cathers; grandchildren John Casey Jr. & Lyndzie Ren and great granddaughter Abby.
Visitation Saturday 11:30am until the memorial service at 12:30pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gloucester County Animal Shelter or American Cancer Society.
