Catherine 'Betty' E. James

Catherine E. "Betty" James, 93, of West Deptford, passed away on April 8, 2013 at home. Betty was born in Philadelphia; she resided in Westville before moving to West Deptford in 1958. She was a homemaker. Betty was a member of the Verga United Methodist Church and she volunteered for the Phone a Friend Program for the Blind and the Contact Reassurance Program for People that Live Alone. She was very well loved by her family and everyone who knew her.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Fredrick James Jr. in 1997 and her brothers Fred Von Der Stuck and Harry Eardley. She is survived by her daughter Judith C. (Samuel) Young of West Deptford; 2 grandchildren Fred (Denise) Young and Carrie De Fazio and 4 great grandchildren Gregory, Dylan & James Young and Victoria De Fazio.
