Catherine A. Munns

Catherine A. Munns (nee Loustalot) 80, of West Deptford on June 8, 2010. Born in Jersey City, N.J. raised in Nutley, N.J., she was a resident of West Deptford for 54 years and most recently a resident of Woodbury Mews.

She was the loving wife of the late George W. Munns, Jr. for 50 years. She is survived by her children, Joe Munns and his wife Judy, Tom Munns and his wife Sharon and Maggie Priest and her husband Bob. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Terri and Danny Munns, Jimmy and Mathew Priest and Wes and Abby Munns. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Borger and survived by sisters, Rosemary Goin and Jean Young.

Catherine was a longtime employee of the West Deptford Board of Education ending her tenure there as payroll clerk. Catherine enjoyed the time her children spent in marching band and was an active member of the West Deptford Band Parents Association spending countless hours sewing uniforms and flags. In recent years she enjoyed decorative painting and reading.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 10:00 a.m. at the Davis and Wagner Funeral and Cremation Services, Woodbury, NJ. Friends and relatives may call after 9:00 a.m. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a charity of your choosing.
