Barbara L. Turner (nee Dreier),81, of West Deptford, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on November 17, 2020. Barbara was born and raised in Woodbury, NJ before moving to West Deptford, NJ in 1961. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Dreier.
Native of Woodbury, she graduated from Woodbury High School, class of 1957. Barbara was a longtime member of Kemble Memorial United Methodist Church where she served as a Co-Leader of the Silver Circle. She was a current member of the St. Pauls United Methodist Church of Thorofare and served as greeter coordinator. Following her passion of research in genealogy, she became an active member of the Gloucester County Historical Society in 1986. Over the years, she volunteered in various positions including President, Vice President and Board of Trustee Member. She is co-author of 'Woodbury, Images of America.'
Devoted wife of 61 years to A.J. 'Bert' Turner; beloved mother of Cathy L. (Samuel) Cianfarini of West Deptford, Cheryl L. (Marc) Bailey of Sedona, Arizona, and R. Keith (Beth) Turner of Mullica Hill; and loving grandmother, 'Mimi' to Patrick D. (Danielle) Budd, Christopher J. (Lauren) Cianfarini, Samantha L. Budd, Kevin M. Cianfarini, Victoria L. Budd, Noah L. Turner and Emily E. Turner.
Barbara will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She holds a special place in all of our hearts.
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Friday, November 20at Eglington Cemetery under the direction ofDAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES Woodbury, NJ. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers donationsmay be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) or St. Pauls United Methodist Church of Thorofare, NJ.
