George E. Montoya, 91, of National Park, passed away on June 16, 2016. George was born in Preston, Cuba and has resided in National Park since 1967. He was a carpenter at the Philadelphia Naval Yard, retiring in 1985. George served in the US Army during WWII and the Merchant Marines from 1948 to 1950. He was also a Bee keeper.
George is survived by his wife of 67 years Paquita (nee Core); 2 daughters Diana (James B.) Goldman of Woodbury & Rose Ann (Thomas) Spittle of Woodbury Heights; son Jorge (Jeanine) Montoya of Cherry Hill; 5 grand and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation Saturday 10:30am until the service at 12noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 259 Lambs Rd. Sewell, NJ 08080 under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME Woodbury, NJ. Interment with Military Honor Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
