Gary L. Beard

Gary L. Beard, 64, of Medford, passed away on February 4, 2016. Gary was born and raised in Woodbury; he resided in Clarksboro for 30 years before moving to Medford in 2010. Gary worked for the US Postal Service throughout Gloucester County for 30 years, retiring in 2009. He graduated from Woodbury High School in 1969 and received his master degrees in Fine Art and Psychology from Rowan University; receiving the NJ State Council of the Arts award. Gary was an artist and woodworker.

Gary is survived by his wife Karen (nee Christensen); mother Norma Beard of Woodbury; children Adrienne Wilcox of Deptford, Dennis Stafford of CA; Lianna (Keith) Crosby of FL & Jonathan Gaughan of Medford; sister LeAnn (Thomas) Walsh of Woodbury; brother Kirby (Kathryn) Beard of Norristown, PA and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation Monday 7 to 9pm and Tuesday 10am until the services at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
